Born From My Own Skin

My Skin Turned Against Me. So I Turned to Plants.

Sapphire Botanics started during my pregnancy, when my skin turned against me. Cystic acne appeared overnight. Everything I tried made it worse. Mainstream skincare was too harsh, too synthetic, too disconnected from what my skin actually needed.
So I went back to what I knew. I grew up watching my grandmother prepare remedies from plants and herbs. I started blending my own oils, choosing each botanical for what it could do for my skin.
The results did not just clear my acne. They completely transformed my skin. My partner saw what was happening and said: other women need this. Women whose skin does not tolerate everything. In 2019, we launched Sapphire Botanics to serve them.

Reshma Singh

Reshma started Sapphire Botanics after cystic acne appeared during her pregnancy and nothing she tried helped. She grew up watching her grandmother prepare remedies from plants and herbs, and began blending her own botanical face oils.

Today she leads creative at Sapphire Botanics and is the face of the brand. She shares the journey of building it on Instagram.
