We ship from Ontario, Canada to addresses across Canada and the United States. Every order is carefully packaged in protective, recyclable materials and dispatched with tracking. This page covers our rates, timelines, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Shipping rates and delivery times
Final rates, carriers, and available speeds for your address are shown at checkout before you pay. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Canadian statutory holidays. Delivery times are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed.
A note for US customers. Our free shipping threshold is $60 CAD, which typically equals around $44 USD depending on the current exchange rate. Cart subtotals shown in USD at checkout will reflect whether you qualify.
Processing time
Orders placed before 1:00 PM Eastern Time on a business day are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM, on weekends, or on statutory holidays are processed the next business day. Processing usually takes one to two business days before your order is handed to the carrier.
During launches, promotions, and holiday periods, processing can take up to three business days. We will post a notice on our homepage if we are running longer than usual.
Order tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page. If you have an account with us, you can also view tracking information under My Account.
Tracking information can take up to twenty-four hours to update after dispatch. If your tracking has not updated after forty-eight hours, email us at hello@sapphirebotanics.com with your order number and we will investigate.
US customs, duties, and taxes
Most US orders are not subject to duties. Our products are shipped from Canada under USMCA (Canada-US-Mexico Agreement) provisions, which typically exempt qualifying goods from import duty for personal-use shipments.
In rare cases, US customs may assess a small duty or state sales tax at or after delivery. Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We declare the full retail value on every customs form, as required by law. We cannot mark orders as gifts or understate their value.
Shipping restrictions
We currently ship only to physical addresses in Canada and the United States. We cannot ship to:
- PO boxes in the US (USPS requires a physical address for our parcel class).
- Military APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.
- US territories outside the fifty states, unless arranged in advance. Contact us before ordering.
- Countries outside Canada and the United States. We are working on international expansion and will announce new regions as they open.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We ship to the address exactly as entered. If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, email us at hello@sapphirebotanics.com with your order number and the correct address. We can update it before dispatch. Once your order has shipped, we cannot change the delivery address.
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. You may be responsible for the additional shipping cost.
Lost or delayed parcels
If your tracking shows no movement for more than seven business days (Canada) or ten business days (US), or if the tracking shows "delivered" but the parcel has not arrived, please:
- Check with neighbours, building management, or other members of your household.
- Look for a delivery notice card and check with the carrier's local depot.
- Contact us at hello@sapphirebotanics.com with your order number within fifteen days of the expected delivery date.
We will open a trace with the carrier. If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will send a replacement or issue a refund. Claims submitted more than thirty days after the expected delivery date are difficult to resolve with the carrier and may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
Damaged or defective shipments
Every bottle is bubble-wrapped and packed to survive normal shipping. If your order arrives damaged, photograph the outer packaging and the affected product as soon as you open it, and email the photos along with your order number to hello@sapphirebotanics.com within seven days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you. See our Returns policy for full details.
Changes to shipping rates and policies
We may update shipping rates, carriers, and timelines as our business grows and as carrier rates change. Any update takes effect from the date of posting on this page and applies to orders placed after that date. Orders already placed are shipped under the rates and timelines that applied when the order was confirmed.
